This role is responsible for managing United’s OnSite Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program, including trailers, job boxes, and customer storerooms. The position supports customers and the sales team by coordinating setup, inventory parameters, labeling, and service invoicing to ensure smooth operations and a strong customer experience. This individual will also partner with Outside Sales to promote Support Services offerings, manage container rentals, and support reporting and strategic initiatives that help grow and improve our service programs.
- Manage United OnSite VMI Program (trailers, job boxes, storerooms)
- Responsible for selling and set-up.
- Prepare labels.
- Enter customer ship to.
- Load part numbers and order parameters.
- Invoice customers for services.
- Manage container/trailer rentals.
- Invoicing and coordinating transportation.
- Traveling with Outside Sales Reps to discuss Support Services offerings.
- Responsible for internal reporting.
- Develop, communicate and implement departmental strategic plan.
- Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.
- May be required to operate powered industrial trucks.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times a day, bend, twist, and climb.
- Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies.
