Expected salary range of $156,600 to $174,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose Of Position
Maintain the overall responsibility for the Fix-It-Now (FIN) Team and the FIN Team's work to ensure that the Clean Energy Center (CEC) is maintained in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
Primary Duties And Accountabilities•Effectively manages assigned staff (e.g. Hiring, Development, Compensation, Performance Evaluation, assist in Training Certification compliance, etc.) to ensure that all FIN activities are performed safely and effectively by trained workers in accordance with CEC procedures and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations.
•Provide support of CEC operations and ensure schedule integrity is maintained by managing emergent and priority work. Support Operations and Work Management with Priority Work List Items as well as Main Control Room (MCR) deficiencies.
•Responsible for the planning and execution of all assigned FIN activities during on-line, forced outages, refuel outages and unplanned power reductions.
•Assure timely and effective performance of assigned FIN maintenance by trained and qualified personnel using approved procedures and work practices.
•Assure FIN maintenance and repair activities are conducted in accordance with personnel and safety policies by complying with administrative and technical procedures and work rules.
•Manage all CEC simple troubleshooting and be the interface between Maintenance and Engineering for transition to focused or complex troubleshooting.
•Maintain overall ownership/control of the New Work Screening Committee.
•Maintain low and manageable CEC Work Request (WR) backlog ensuring that emergent equipment issues are worked using the minor maintenance process.
•All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience OR
•Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 8 years of related experience OR
•Associate degree with 10 years of related experience OR
•High School diploma/GED and 12 years of related experience
•3 years of related experience which shall include 2 years of power plant experience, 1-year of nuclear power plant experience and 0.25 years of on-site experience
•Must meet additional requirements as outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.4.7) Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants"
•Supervisory or managerial experience
•Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Preferred Qualifications
•Supervisory or managerial experience in a Maintenance discipline (Electrical, Instrument or Mechanical)
•Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license or Certification
