What You’ll Do

- You will be part of an elite technician team that will work on a wide range of projects from large events, to assisting Utilities customers or being part of a turnaround team in a refinery.

- Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or OFA systems.

- Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Major Projects and in service centers. Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.

- Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.

- Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.

- Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

- High school diploma/GED

- 4-10 years' experience working on power generators, commercial HVAC equipment, and/or oil free air (OFA) compressors, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs Experience performance testing generators, HVAC, and oil free air equipment

- Electrical Generating System Association technician or other various certifications are a plus but not required.

- Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meter’s, amp meters, and Hygrometers

- Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card, valid driver’s license

- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
