Maintenance Technician

FIRST SHIFT SCHEDULE ONLY - MONDAY TO THURSDAY AND SOME FRIDAYS

JOB DUTIES:

- Responsible for making repairs on equipment and systems throughout the facility.

- Conducting preventative maintenance on machines/systems throughout our facility.

- Handles general and facility maintenance to include: basic electrical, hydraulics, plumbing, painting, basic carpentry, assembly and maintenance of fixtures; machine system repair and maintenance and other assigned duties.

- Performs all work assignments in an appropriate, timely and safe manner. Reacts to all breakdowns in a timely manner.

- Works with maintenance team to perform preventative maintenance and keeps PM program up to date.

- Ensures all completed orders and inventory are entered into the tracking software.

- Provides support to visiting contractors, when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Preference will be given to candidates with industrial electrical experience.

- Must be able to work Monday to Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM and some Fridays from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

- Must have, at least, 1 -year of experience in facility maintenance – production or manufacturing setting preferred.

- Should be experienced with general maintenance and electrical repairs.

- Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position, which include: walking, standing, bending, twisting and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed; and be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

- Must be able to successfully complete the required, pre-employment drug screen.
