Hourly Rate Range: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Specific Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions

1. Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance and repairs.

2. Have the knowledge and ability to trouble shoot and repair production equipment, including welding machines, metal fabricating equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system.

3. Control equipment down time by conducting PM inspections and repairs outside of peak production hours as required.

4. Ability to coordinate repairs with outside contractors and vendors.

5. Provide facility maintenance and repairs as needed.

6. Track repairs, including cause, down time, and repair time.

7. Manage repair and replacement parts inventory, restock as needed.

8. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- 5+ years related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical and hydraulic diagrams, and equipment specifications.

- Proficient with hand and power tools, metal working tools and welding equipment.

- Some welding experience preferred.

- Familiarity with fabrication and processing equipment required CNC experience preferred.

- Occasionally use of ladders and scissor lifts, some climbing required.

- Position requires walking and standing most of the time.

- Occasional kneeling and stooping.

- Some lifting required less than 50lbs.

- Hours outside of scheduled shift will be necessary as workload dictates. This may include weekends.
