What you'll do
•Perform maintenance on production equipment, including performing preventative maintenance, supporting troubleshooting, spares and sustainment
•Collect and evaluate operating data and work with engineering to determine process adjustments to ensure optimal process performance
•Identify possible improvements for standard operating procedures and work with engineering to evaluate and potentially qualify any procedural changes
•Address powder spills or emergencies and implement the appropriate resolution
•Follow and role model all safety rules, standard operating procedures, and maintenance instructions
•Partner with Equipment and Facilities Engineering to support projects
•Maintain and troubleshoot facilities equipment
•Maintain and troubleshoot test and production equipment
•Log and support the implementation of periodic maintenance (PM) schedules for multiple tools
•Innovate custom solutions to production equipment to handle Niron's production goals
What we're looking for
•Technical 2-year degree or greater with a focus in vacuum technology
•3-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing equipment
•Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 25 lbs.
•HAZMAT and/or Emergency Response training
•Highly collaborative, enjoys working within a diverse team environment
•Strong interpersonal communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
•Ability to self-direct, troubleshoot basic problems, and address root causes
•An innovative practical approach to equipment optimization
•Demonstrated maintenance skills in a fast-growing environment
Our pay and benefits
•Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on education, experience and skills
•Equity position in Niron via stock option grant
