Position Details:

•

Monday - Thursday, 4:15PM - 3:00AM

What You Will Do:

•

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the plants business goals and objectives.

•

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service

•

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of CNC and production machines

•

Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance on CNC machines and equipment and ensure timely completion using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

•

Execute regular work orders assigned by Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

•

Analyze breakdowns for possible root causes and identify solutions to prevent in the future

•

Actively support spare parts inventory minimizing downtime while reducing costs

•

Ensure compliance of safety program while performing work

•

Support lean activities both within the Manufacturing Services department and across the organization

•

Perform all other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

•

Understand operation of 2, 3, and 4-way valves

•

Understand operation of single/double acting cylinders

•

Mechanical Skills

•

Replace gearboxes and motors

•

Replace bearings and chain drives

•

Basic conveyor adjustment

•

Basic math and analytical skills

•

Solid technical skills to understand computerized measuring machines and metalworking processes

•

5 years of experience in manufacturing environment

•

3 years of experience mechanical repairs and troubleshooting of industrial equipment including CNC machines (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan)

•

Strong working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, machine controls and PLC controllers

•

Basic knowledge in electrical systems and PLC controllers

•

Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams

•

Experience with micrometers, calipers, and common shop tools

•

Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and CMMS software

•

Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with strong work ethic

Color contrast eye examinations are required to be completed at the employer’s discretion or due to requirement to ensure team members maintain optimal visual acuity, which is crucial for accurate performance of the responsibilities of this position.

Preferred

•

Knowledge of shipping practices of UPS, FedEx, and local trucking companies.

Physical Demands:

•

The employee is regularly required to stand for the entire work day.

•

The employee regularly lifts and carries 50 lbs. and occasionally lifts and carries up to 100 lbs.

•

Employee is able to work in confined spaces and at heights.

•

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

•

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

•

The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material. The employee will also reach with arms and hands as needed.

•

Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
