Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess a variety of technical skills to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

•

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility-related equipment.

•

Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently.

•

Fabricate and weld components as necessary for repairs or improvements.

•

Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.

•

Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support as needed.

•

Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic quality within facilities.

•

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used.

•

Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.

•

Proficiency in electrical systems, including logic controllers.

•

Experience with welding and fabrication techniques is preferred.

•

Leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.

•

Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
