Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance/Quality Engineering Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and quality control systems at our plant, developing and executing strategies to enhance equipment performance and uphold the highest standards of facility operations. You will collaborate with senior management to contribute to the creation of key sections of our new Quality Management System (QMS), driving continuous improvement across both maintenance and quality functions. Your efforts will be vital in ensuring operational efficiency and product quality at optimal cost levels.


Key Responsibilities

CNC & Facility Equipment Maintenance: Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance plan to maximize the uptime of CNC machines and facility equipment.

Quality Management System (QMS): Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the QMS in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 to ensure the highest product quality and operational efficiency.
Installation & Documentation: Oversee the installation of new machinery, including conducting and documenting IQ/OQ (Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification) procedures to ensure equipment meets specifications.
Vendor Coordination: Work closely with equipment vendors and service partners to ensure timely repairs, maintenance, and optimal machinery performance.
Preventive Maintenance Scheduling: Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the long-term reliability of all equipment.
Inventory Management: Maintain a robust inventory of spare parts and fluids, ensuring timely availability to prevent operational downtime.
Safety: Uphold safety standards in compliance with industry best practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of all team members.
Equipment Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular equipment inspections and audits to evaluate machine condition and the effectiveness of maintenance plans.
CNC Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC controls, including systems like Fanuc and Brother.
Component Replacement & Alignment: Perform critical component replacements (linear guides, ball screws, bearings) and ensure precise equipment alignments (slides, turrets, bar feeds).
Equipment Cleaning & Upkeep: Regularly clean and maintain machinery to sustain peak performance.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and guide a team of maintenance professionals in executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Training & Development: Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical skills and ensure the adherence to best maintenance practices.


Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience with Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Strong background in designing, operating, and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Electrical Expertise: Proficiency in high and low voltage electronics, electrical troubleshooting, and system diagnostics.
Safety Expertise: In-depth knowledge of safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety, and pressurized system safety.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with others to find solutions.
Measurement Tools Proficiency: Experienced in using hand measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
Blueprint & Schematic Reading: Proficient in reading and interpreting machine blueprints, electrical wiring diagrams, and schematics for troubleshooting and maintenance.
Software Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word) for documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
Leadership: Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style, with the ability to lead by example and make confident decisions.
