Maintenance Supervisor

STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS:

Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the applicant will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.

Education/Qualifications:

Essential:

1. High school diploma or GED required.

2. Some specialized mechanical/technical education a plus.

Desirable:

1. Experience servicing Pioneer, Godwin and Cornell pumps, McElroy Fusion Machines and Cleveland Brothers/CAT construction equipment.

2. Provide personal common hand tools to perform the above functions

3. Minimum two years supervisory/managerial experience.

Requirements/Skills:

Essential:

1. Knowledge of diesel engines, truck repairs, mechanical devices, centrifugal pumps, and equipment maintenance.

2. Proficiency with MS outlook email and general computer skills

3. Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in a fast pace environment.

4. Proven track record of establishing and maintaining healthy working relationships in permanent and temporary work groups.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage subordinate employees or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

+ Ability to walk on uneven, slippery and muddy conditions + Ability to sit and / or stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours daily. + Ability to work out of doors in all environmental conditions. + Ability to operate and maneuver on and off an all-terrain vehicle throughout the day. + Worker will be subject to other physical activities required, to include climbing, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. + Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and range of vision necessary to safely perform job functions
