Maintenance Mechanic - Vicksburg, MS

This is a Mechanic Position for contract and common carrier with a logistics / trucking company location in Vicksburg, MS. Reports to Shop Foreman. Duties and Responsibilities include: Maintaining tractors and trailers; Performing inspections on equipment; Keeping shop areas safe and clean; Other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications include: High School Diploma/GED; Good communication skills; Preference of 1 year of experience in maintenance and repair; Air brake certified; Must have own tools. Desired: Tank experience; CDL with HAZMAT & Tank Endorsements; Knowledge of newer diesel and emission treatment systems.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience

- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)

- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
