Machine Shop Estimator

Job Overview

Review customer drawings and requirements to estimate the machine time, raw materials, and subcontractor services required to manufacture CNC machined parts.

Responsibilities

- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare estimates, machine processes, material cost, and subcontract services.

- Consult with customers, vendors, and company personnel to discuss and formulate estimates

- Work with shop staff on processes to keep projects progressing correctly

- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and work instructions

- Experience Programming, Setting up and operating machining centers and Lathes is a desirable

Qualifications

- Candidate should have a strong CNC background

- Experience CNC programming, CAM programming, and operating CNC milling machines.

- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Experience with E2 ERP system a plus

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
