Lube Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing oil changes, tire services, and other vehicle maintenance tasks while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Perform oil changes and fluid level checks to maintain vehicle performance

- Conduct tire services including rotation, balancing, and alignment

- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various automotive repairs and maintenance tasks

- Diagnose vehicle issues using automotive diagnostics equipment

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area

- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs

- Assist in heavy lifting when necessary to support vehicle maintenance tasks

- Stay updated on automotive service techniques and industry trends

Qualifications

- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience

- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair procedures

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

- Experience in vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and tire services

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction

- Sales experience is a plus, contributing to upselling services when appropriate

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
