GeoSystems Analysis, Inc., a Trinity Consultants team, specializes in soil, water, and ecological sciences and has an exciting, full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic Logistics and Field Coordinator. The Logistics and Field Coordinator manages field vehicle and equipment logistics, maintenance, and inventory to ensure all field teams are properly outfitted. They also assist field staff in making travel arrangements, shipping equipment to sites, and doing administrative tasks. This position works closely with project managers and field staff to maintain safety compliance and efficient operations.
- Maintain inventory of consumable and non-consumable field equipment.
- Track and execute vehicle maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Identify equipment needs and shortfalls; recommend solutions to their Manager.
- Ensure field vehicles and equipment meet client and safety requirements.
- Maintain and prioritize company safety equipment.
- Communicate equipment and procedure updates to field staff and senior leadership.
- Engage with internal and external clients to support preparation and scheduling.
- Promote open communication and morale across field and administrative staff.
- Prepare invoices for clients for equipment rental fees
- Participate in team meetings and uphold company policies and expectations.
- Assist with travel arrangements for field staff.
- Ensure field staff are cleared to go to sites.
- Prepare equipment shipments to sites.
What qualifications are required for this role?
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Experience in vehicle/equipment coordination, inventory, or logistics preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems independently.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance planning and inventory tracking.
- Familiarity with safety standards and field logistics.
- Past experience in field biology, archaeology, or military preferred.
