Loader Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Loader Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to efficiently load, transport, and unload materials across construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure smooth project workflows, safety compliance, and timely completion of tasks. Duties

- Operate loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling machines, and paving equipment with precision and safety.

- Load and unload construction materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and other supplies using appropriate machinery.

- Transport materials between different areas of the construction site or to designated locations on-site.

- Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.

- Assist with site preparation activities including grading, leveling, and excavation tasks as required.

- Follow all safety protocols and construction procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and optimize workflow efficiency.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drills, and paving machinery.

- Proven experience operating heavy machinery on construction sites with a focus on safety and precision.

- Hands-on experience with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or similar brands is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of construction site safety standards and procedures.

- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and identify potential issues early.

- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
