Title of the position: LNG Highway Trailer Engineer (NOC 21301).
● Design, develop, and commission Cryopeak LNG Trailers and systems along with creating processes to monitor and control these systems.
● Ensure that Cryopeak LNG Trailers and systems are designed to operate effectively, efficiently, and safely.
● Design and develop new Cryopeak LNG Trailers, equipment, and systems.
● Manage mechanical, electrical, and control and instrumentation design and documentation.
● Lead engineering responses in the permitting phase of projects.
● Ensure systems and designs comply with applicable laws, regulations, and codes.
● Detail specifications for procurement and scope of work for contractors.
● Create operations manuals and provide input into commissioning and test plans.
● Ensure systems are efficiently and safely commissioned on customer sites.
● Provide customer support and troubleshooting when LNG equipment and systems are in operation.
● Work closely and collaboratively with other team members in Cryopeak to ensure that our company’s objectives are met.
● Interact with design engineers, operations engineers, purchasers and other internal staff.
● Carry out project management within cost and time constrained environments.
Wage: $57.69 per hour ($120,000 per year, 40 hours per week).

○ Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Engineer in Training (EIT).
○ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related engineering discipline.
○ Minimum of 5 years of work experience in designing cryogenic trailers and other cryogenic projects.
○ Understanding of applicable Canadian codes, regulations, and standards associated with cryogenic trailer design.
○ Ability to travel to project sites if required.
○ Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to learn within a new industry.
○ Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
○ Detail-oriented with a knack for proactive problem-solving and a passion for driving project success from planning to execution.
○ Must treat safety and quality as the highest priority in the workplace.
○ Experience in an EPCM environment is an asset.
○ CAD and drafting experience is an asset.
