Line Location Supervisor

WHAT MATTERS MOST:

- Experience in line locating

- 2+ years of experience leading 811 locating crews or teams

- High School diploma or GED

- Ability to read utility prints and use mapping tools

- OSHA 10/30 certification is preferred

DIVE DEEPER INTO YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm, with on-call availability.

You'll dispatch directly to job sites from home, taking on the role of a hands-on leader and problem-solver. Your days are spent supervising a team of line locating technicians, overseeing everything from their schedules and dispatches to their safety, training, and overall quality of work. As you support your team, you'll review field tickets, coordinate high-profile locate requests, and handle any on-site issues that arise. You'll ensure every locate is accurate and compliant with industry standards like 811 and OSHA, all while managing equipment and maintenance to keep your crew fully prepared. You'll investigate incidents or damage claims, implement corrective actions, and act as the primary contact for any escalations. Finally, you'll be a vital partner to contractors, municipalities, and utility owners, ensuring every job is completed safely and efficiently.
