Licensed Electrician

United Better Homes is a growing home improvement company specializing in solar, electrical, HVAC, and energy-efficient solutions. We are currently seeking a Licensed Electrical Journeyman to join our team and support residential electrical and solar installations throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform residential electrical work in compliance with state and local codes

- Support solar PV system installations, battery storage, and service upgrades

- Install and troubleshoot electrical panels, meters, disconnects, and wiring

- Read and interpret electrical plans and schematics

- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

- Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, and team members

Requirements

- Valid Electrical Journeyman License (MA and/or RI)

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience

- Residential electrical experience required (solar experience a plus)

- Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
