We are seeking a licensed Water & Wastewater Operator to support assigned systems while working directly under an Account Manager. This is a hands-on operational role focused on day-to-day system performance, compliance, and maintenance execution, with exposure to client coordination and opportunities for growth into leadership or account-level responsibilities over time.
This position is ideal for an operator who wants to deepen technical expertise, work closely with a senior account manager, and grow within a rapidly expanding utility operations company. Current wastewater treatment licensure is required for this role.
- Perform daily operations, maintenance, sampling, inspections, and monitoring for wastewater and drinking water systems.
- Support the Account Manager in managing assigned client systems by providing accurate field data, system insights, and operational updates.
- Execute maintenance work orders including inspections, repairs, pump pulls, troubleshooting, and emergency response as needed.
- Assist with identifying maintenance needs and system improvements; provide field input for scopes and estimates.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable DEQ and EPA regulations, including reporting and documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and operational data for assigned systems.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Department and other operators to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to operational issues and emergencies as required.
- Idaho Wastewater Treatment License (Class II or III preferred; transferable equivalent considered).
- Idaho Wastewater Collections License preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Drinking Water Operator license or experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of water and/or wastewater operational experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating closely with management and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background check for federal contracts.
- Salary range: $62,000 – $73,000, commensurate with experience and licensing.
