Overview
Genesis Digital Assets Ltd. is a leading builder and manager of industrial-sized bitcoin mining facilities in the world with a strong presence in North America. It is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Manager of Construction to join their legal team. The position requires an understanding of property acquisition, power management, and construction legal processes, as well as the ability to manage complex legal matters and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities Include:
•
Provide legal counsel and guidance on a wide range of issues related to the acquisition of property, the development of infrastructure, the procurement of power, and the construction of data center facilities.
•
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
•
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
•
Assist in the development and oversight of the insurance programs.
•
Preparation of corporate compliance documentation and corporate filings.
•
Oversight of contract management for the construction of facilities.
•
Support the General Counsel in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
•
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
•
Licensed to practice law.
•
Minimum of three years of legal experience as a licensed attorney.
•
Proven track record in managing complex legal matters.
•
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
•
Ability to work at the North America office in Houston, Texas is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
