We are seeking a pragmatic and strategic Legal Counsel to join the ENMAX in-house Legal Team. This position offers the opportunity to do high caliber legal work as a member of a high performing, collaborative and collegial legal team. This role involves working independently with the business as well as assisting other legal counsel with various tasks.

The ideal candidate is a keen learner, problem-solver and relationship builder who will effectively partner with the business and within the Legal Team to deliver strategic and commercially relevant legal advice on a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters.

Major Responsibilities:* Cultivate an understanding of ENMAX business operations to provide quality legal advice, identify legal risks, and advise on legal obligations and steps to protect ENMAX’s interests

Education Required:* Law degree (LL.B or J.D.) from an accredited law school

Qualifications & Experience:* 2-4-year post-call experience at a top tier law firm or in-house

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
