The Lead Solar Installer is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems, including solar panels, inverters, racking systems, and electrical components. This role involves coordinating team activities, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and providing technical guidance to team members. The Lead Solar Installer works both indoors and outdoors, often at elevated heights, and plays a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of car chargers, solar, and battery systems.
a. Supervise and guide Solar Installers on-site, ensuring tasks are completed according to design specifications, safety regulations, and company standards.
b. Assist with training new installers on proper techniques and safety protocols.
c. Coordinate daily activities and assign tasks to team members to optimize productivity and efficiency.
2. Installation of Solar Panels, Battery Systems, and Car Chargers:
a. Lead the installation of solar panels on rooftops, ground mounts, or other structures, adhering to design specifications.
b. Ensure proper installation of racking systems to support solar panels and other system components.
c. Oversee the installation of battery systems and car chargers, ensuring compliance with design and safety requirements.
d. Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges on-site to maintain project timelines.
a. Supervise the wiring of solar panels to inverters and other electrical components, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
b. Verify the proper connection of panels to electrical service panels and system testing equipment.

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in electrical or solar installation preferred.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar panel installation or a related field.
· Proven leadership experience with the ability to supervise and guide team members.
