Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Lead Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires a strong understanding of both high and low voltage systems, as well as proficiency in blueprint reading and fixture installation.

Duties

•

Lead and supervise a solar team crew in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

•

Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.

•

Utilize power tools and equipment effectively for various electrical tasks, including fixture installation and wiring.

•

Collaborate with project managers to interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate implementation of electrical layouts.

•

Troubleshoot electrical issues, providing solutions for both high voltage and low voltage systems.

•

Ensure that all work is performed safely, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

•

Train and mentor junior electricians on techniques, safety protocols, and effective use of tools.

•

Maintain an organized work environment, ensuring that all tools and materials are accounted for.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience as a Solar lead electrician with a strong background in both high voltage and low voltage systems.

•

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications related to electrical installations.

•

Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation in an electrical context.

•

Experience in fixture installation, including lighting systems, outlets, and circuit breakers.

•

Ability to plumbing electrical lines safely through roofs or other structures as required by project specifications.

•

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.

•

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and other trades on-site.
