Why This Role Is Different
This is not a technology maintenance position. You will architect and code entirely new systems that shape the trajectory of our company and, by extension, the way energy companies hire. You will partner directly with product, growth, marketing, development and sales to turn customer insights into features, experiments, and revenue. There is no people-management line in your org chart, yet your technical vision and project-management skill will galvanize designers, data scientists, and GTM teams around clear, ambitious goals. You will be well-versed in the newest development technologies to rapidly create, deploy, test, integrate and scale new features, and products. You will need to have a spirit for winning, and a passion for building amazing things that work great, look great, and keep customers engaged and excited.
Responsibilities
Develop full-stack features using Next.js, .NET, and Python
Build and maintain APIs and microservices for various platform functionalities
Work on our search and matching features using Elasticsearch and LLM integrations
Optimize database performance across SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Deploy and manage applications on AWS and Azure
Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features
Required Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Backend: .NET and Python
Frontend: Next.js
Databases: Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure
Search/AI: Experience with Elasticsearch and working with LLM integrations
General: 7+ years of software development experience
Key Competencies:
Full-stack development capabilities
Strong API design and microservices architecture skills
Experience building scalable applications
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and mentor others
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Sanity CMS
Infrastructure as code and CI/CD experience
Previous startup or high-growth company experience
