We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Engineer to drive quality assurance initiatives across our mobile and web platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation testing, a strong background in both manual and automated QA methodologies, and proven leadership experience guiding teams to deliver reliable, high-performing software solutions.
- Lead the QA team in defining and executing test strategies for mobile and web applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Establish best practices for test automation, CI/CD integration, and defect management.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering technical growth and promoting a culture of quality-first development.
- Analyze test results, track key QA metrics, and provide reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business priorities and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing tools, techniques, and processes.- 6+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Strong experience in mobile automation (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar).
- Proficiency in web automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Experience with validation of hardware and firmware running on microprocessor/linux platforms
- Emulator/Simulator use
- OTA upgrades
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Proven ability to lead QA teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exposure to microservices and API testing (REST, GraphQL, Postman, RestAssured).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based test execution (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
