Employment Type: Full Time – Permanent

Salary Range: SP4, Level 6, $116,960 - $146,200 per year. The final compensation for this position will be determined based on individual factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

The Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for workplace safety and a strong understanding of occupational health and safety? We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable individual to join our Health & Safety (H&S) team as the Lead, Health & Safety at the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER). In this role reporting to the Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the AER’s Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Program by promoting and maintaining policies, standards, and procedures that ensure compliance and foster a strong safety culture. You will collaborate closely with field staff and cross-functional teams to identify and address gaps, provide expert guidance on OH&S requirements, and lead the integration of safety practices into daily operations.
