Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Leading and coaching team members in achieving maintenance safety and productivity targets.
- Assigning and monitoring work to ensure compliance with company policies and OH&S regulations.
- Utilizing CAT SIS for technical information and repair procedures.
- Ensuring accurate documentation and work order management in SAP/JDE.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work area.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, planners, and other departments.
- Ontario provincial or inter-provincial (Red Seal) Heavy Duty Mechanic certification.
- 10 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- 2–5 years’ experience in a supervisory and/or lead hand role.
- Fluent in CAT SIS and SAP/JDE systems.
- Strong background in support equipment, including Dozers, Loaders, CAT 777 Haul Trucks, Graders.
- Experience working at a remote work site is considered an asset.
- Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
