Laser Operator description of role:

NCT Technologies Group is currently seeking a Laser/Press Brake Operator for 1st shift to join our team.

The ideal laser operator will have the following:

- Experience operating, maintaining and setting-up a Laser (Amada preferred)

- Experience operating, maintaining and setting-up a Press Brake (Amada preferred)

- Able to read and interpret blueprints

- Able to use measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, etc….)

- Able to grind and deburr parts post laser

- Able to improvise / problem solve

- Able to be cross-functional to support workload

- Able to be self-sufficient once trained

Required qualifications and characteristics

- Excellent attendance

- Punctual

- Team Player

- Positive Attitude

- Mechanically inclined

- Efficient with good time utilization skills

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and load material onto laser bay

- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking and bending

- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed

Work Schedule:

Full time, 1st shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm. Possible overtime and Saturdays

Laser/Press Brake Operator Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 based on experience
