FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We
design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for
large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot
have a power lapse at any time.
We are looking for the perfect candidate to expand our Material Processing team!
Overview
The Laser Operator is responsible for producing machine parts by setting
up and operating sheet metal plasma cutting table. Also maintains quality & safety
standards; keeps machine log records; maintains equipment and supplies;
performs routine housekeeping at machine work area.
Applicants should be:
•MUST complete a pre-employment drug screening
•Flexible to work overtime and have excellent attendance and punctuality history
•Able to interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner
•Able to read a tape measure
•Able to work from and understand verbal instructions
•Able to learn and communicate well with others
•Able to solve basic mathematical equations
•Able to read, write and speak English
Essential Functions
•Maintain a clean and safe environment
•Monitor operation of machinery
•Keep an accurate record of daily operations and material usage
•Make sure all parts and pieces are made for job that is being worked on
•Organize and stack parts for transfer to production
•Read, interpret, and clearly understand work order specifications and set up machine to produce material that meets quality and customer expectations
•Safe operation of material handling equipment (Forklift and overhead crane)
•Verify finished products meets specifications
•Interpret specifications, blueprints, and work instructions
Equipment/Machinery Used
Forklift (25 & 50), tape measure, overhead crane, CNC plasma table (Cross Training
Opportunity: brake press, band saw and pipe threaders)

•Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time; walk on non forgiving surfaces such as concrete, wood, and metal (to include metal or fiberglass ramps placed on 30-degree angles)
•Must be able to climb stairs, balance, climb, stoop, crouch, and crawl
•Must be able to walk on hilly and uneven ground; use hands to handle and feel; reach with hands
•Work environment is a manufacturing warehouse atmosphere with exposure to chemicals, extreme temperature changes, loud noises, and machinery with moving parts. Work environment could also involve some outside exposure.
Working Conditions
•May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over
•OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels).
•Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with
•applicable law, industry standards and company policy.
•Occasionally lifts more than 50 lbs.

thoroughness of work performed; develops good working relationships with shift
supervisor, co-workers, and other employees. Develops working knowledge of the
production environment and can respond to change. Understanding of proper PPE
