LANDSCAPE & HORTICULTURE SUPERVISOR

Curbco is seeking a highly motivated, dependable, and hardworking individual to join our team as a full-time LANDSCAPE & HORTICULTURE SUPERVISOR

Position Summary:

Responsible for managing all field operations, including coordinating the procurement and scheduled use of resources such as labor, equipment, and materials. Scheduling & estimating jobs.

Responsibilities for this position will include:

* Supervise and coordinate the activities of crews

* Monitor and maintain the quality of work performed by crews

* Assign tasks to workers and ensure they are completed on time

* Train new workers and assist in providing on-going training to existing employees

* Order and maintain supplies and equipment needed for projects

* Provide estimates for jobs and work with clients to ensure their needs are met

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in landscape/horticulture required

* Previous experience managing crews is required

* Valid driver’s license and good driving record

* Pesticide licensing required including National Core (including Michigan addendum), Right-of-Way, Turfgrass (3A) & Ornamental Plant (3B)

* Additional related licenses and certifications are a plus

* Horticulture degree helpful, not required

* Year-round work, we work in all types of weather. On-call schedule during winter months for snow removal

Additional Position Details & Offerings:

* Full-time position – 40 hours per week, overtime as needed

* Working Schedule: Monday – Friday with core working hours being 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

* Work Location: multiple locations – home base is our Flint office
