Doral is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Land Contracts Analyst to join our growing company. This position will report directly to our Accounts Payable Accountant – Land Contracts and will be responsible for managing and analyzing the payment processes related to land contracts, ensuring accurate and timely payments, maintaining records, and supporting compliance with contractual terms. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills and have a sharp eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Maintain and update records for land contracts, payment histories, and adjustments.
- Reconcile payment discrepancies, identify errors, and work with internal teams or external parties to resolve issues.
- Analyze the terms of land contracts to ensure payment processes comply with legal and company guidelines.
- Assist in the development and review of payment schedules and contract amendments.
- Support the preparation of contract reporting and audits.
- Collaborate with the accounting, legal, and development departments to ensure smooth payment processing and resolution of any contract-related issues.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, including landowners and developers.
- Prepare periodic payment status reports for management and other stakeholders using advanced Excel functions.
- Maintain and update payment tracking systems to ensure accurate reporting, utilizing Excel for data analysis and automation where appropriate.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to payment processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with the development and implementation of automated systems for payment tracking and contract management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, macros, etc.) for data analysis, reporting, and process automation.

- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or contract management, with specific experience in land contracts or similar areas preferred.
- Familiarity with land contract structures and payment schedules.
- Experience with ERP systems, land contracts systems (Quorum preferred) particularly SAP (S4HANA Public Cloud) and Coupa, is a plus.
