We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Responsibilities:

Lab Technician

Monday-Friday, 7a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

$26.39 per hour

Real Alloy, LLC has a career opportunity for a talented, highly detailed, and self-managing Lab Technician to join the Loudon, TN team. As our new Lab Tech, your job ownership will include:

- Accountability for testing procedures and control of the product inspection and testing lab to ensure customer specifications are met.

- Meeting established schedules, quality specifications and deviations. Operating the spectrometer according to procedures.

- Audit incoming scrap loads & working with purchasing on proper grading of scrap

- Ensuring that all PMs are up to date on the spectrometer and all aluminum sample buttons are correct and of good quality.

- Understand and follow all ISO 9001:2015 Standards

SIGN ON BONUS - $300 AFTER 90 DAYS (Rehires not eligible)

RETENTION BONUS - $600 AFTER 9 MONTHS (Rehires not eligible)

Qualifications:

We are looking for a skilled and talented Lab Technician to join the Real Alloy - Loudon Team.

You are the person we want for our team if you have:

- Three years of experience in a metal processing operation

- The ability to stay focused and on task without direct supervision

- A motivation for accuracy and organization

- High school diploma or GED
