Job Description
The Junior IT Business Analyst’ role is to assist the Business Applications team in the developing, launching, and supporting efficient business systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
The Junior IT Business Analyst is also responsible for production support of various systems, generating and compiling reports, and supporting user provisioning of applications. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
Responsibilities
Health and Safety:

•Following Company health and safety standards and reporting any unsafe acts or conditions
Acquisition And Deployment
•Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
•Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
Operations Management
•User support and problem triage of production environment with focus on use of applications
•System life-cycle support including security, minor application fixes and review of application features
•User management, including administering user access requests for the provisioning of roles and data access, user categories and SSO groups, and deprovisioning, following internal governance practices
•Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas
•Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support
•Reporting and analysis of open items, metrics and KPIs within global service desk system
•Assess and amend any errors in a timely fashion
•Provide status reports where required
•Work with and assist project teams on implementation or upgrades of new and existing business solutions
Technical Responsibilities
•Test and document all implementations and changes to any solutions
•Research and keep current on changing technological trends related to your work
•Recommend and perform improvements or upgrades to enhance solutions
•Follow proper change management processes when performing any changes to solutions
Qualifications
Education
Required: College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, or management information systems and 2+ years related work experience.
Work Experience
Required: 2+ years’ experience in deployment and PROD support of software systems implementations and global environment (cloud, hosted and on-premise platforms).
Knowledge Required
•Prior application administration experience with any of the following solutions is beneficial: Oracle (Fusion, Primavera), InEight Cloud, Hard Dollar, Intelex, Sage300
•User access management experience
•Internal control and security governance experience considered an asset.
