The Junior Buyer is responsible for supporting the procurement process by managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
· Assist in purchasing products or services, ensuring cost-effective selection and management.
· Conduct market research and negotiate with vendors.
· Maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of products.
· Analyze market trends and identify new suppliers.
· Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies.
· Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply and avoid shortages or excess inventory.
· Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and deliveries.
· Expediting purchased items, ensuring proper schedule alignment and timely communication/coordination between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
· Assist with inventory duties as assigned including year end physical inventory.
· Degree / Diploma in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
· High level of proficiency with: MS- Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
· Previous ERP experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
