Senior Buyer

MidNite Solar is an innovative design and manufacturing company that is seeking a Senior Buyer to join our team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Buyer to lead procurement activities across multiple categories. This role is critical in optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure optimal value.

- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities.

- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align purchasing decisions with business objectives.

- Manage supplier relationships, including onboarding, performance reviews, and issue resolution.

- Monitor inventory levels and lead times to ensure continuity of supply.

- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CPM/CPSM certification preferred).

- 5+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in ERP systems.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of contract law, international sourcing, and cost analysis techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
