Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The Junior Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting senior staff in managing day-to-day accounting and finance functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about accounting and looking to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Your Tasks:•General Accounting: Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end accounting tasks. Preparing journal entries, reconciliations and working papers for financial review of senior management.
•General Accounting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
•Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely payment and collection of accounts.
•Reconciliation: Assist in monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
•Data Entry: Accurately input financial transactions into SAP and ensure data integrity.
•Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
•Expense Management: Monitor and report on company expenses, preparing expense reports as needed.
•Tax Compliance: Assist with tax-related tasks, including filing and supporting audits when required.
•Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
•Document Management: Maintain and organize financial documents and records in accordance with company policies.
•Other ad hoc tasks may include working closely and in support with other accounting and finance teams to support them in day to day finance and accounting tasks.
Requirements:
•Certifications: Bachelor’s in finance / accounting must. CPA or any other accounting finance qualification is a plus.
•Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
•Experience: 3-7 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
