Journeyman Plumber

We are actively seeking an experienced, adaptable Plumber for immediate placement in the Saline, MI area. Whether you are looking for full-time hours or a flexible part-time schedule, this role involves traveling directly to local client sites to execute high-quality plumbing work. You will be paid a highly competitive hourly rate for your time on the job, representing Hirearky alongside our clients' on-site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications

- Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions

- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations

- Perform quality inspections on completed work

- Mentor and supervise journeyman and apprentice plumbers as needed

- Manage project timelines and coordinate with clients

- Maintain accurate documentation and work logs

- Respond to emergency service calls when required

- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

- Stay current with industry standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

- Valid Master Plumber License in Michigan

- Minimum 5+ years of professional plumbing experience

- Expert knowledge of Michigan plumbing codes and regulations

- Strong understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems

- Ability to travel throughout Saline and surrounding areas

- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Physical capability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions

Preferred Qualifications

- Business management or supervisory experience

- Customer service excellence and professionalism

- Knowledge of new plumbing technologies and sustainable practices

- EPA certification

- Valid OSHA certification

Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
