MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equal

- 2+ years of hands-on Journeyperson or equivalent field experience

- Good communication skills with ability to follow direction and company procedures

- Team oriented

- Responsible and consistently reliable in word and action

- Self-motivated; take pride in your work

- Competent problem-solving skills

- Attention to detail and quality

- Valid CA Driver's License

This is a full-time position that requires:

- A professional appearance (well groomed)

- Reliable transportation to/from work

- A clean driving record

- Passing a background check and drug test

- Must have required hand tools: battery-powered tools (drivers, saws, multi tool, etc. are included with company vehicle)

- Physically able to lift, carry, climb, crawl and work in small spaces

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide excellent customer service​​

- Follow safety and code requirement protocol

- Lead residential and commercial projects — new and remodel

- Replace and upgrade electrical service panels

- Install back-up generators — both automatic and manual

- Solar and battery installations

- Troubleshoot electrical issues; evaluate alternatives and propose solutions

- Complete required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, change orders)

- Care for company equipment and vehicles

- Participate in safety meetings

- Provide mentoring and instruction to less experienced/apprentice team members

SCHEDULE & HOURS

Monday – Friday: 8 hrs/day + occasional overtime

WORK SITES Throughout Gold Country, including:

- Nevada County

- Placer County

- Yuba County

- Tahoe, Truckee, Donner

COMPENSATION

$37 - $42 starting, DOE
