Joint Interest Billing/Inventory Accountant

Job Description:

- Assist in monthly JIB Processing to ensure accurate billing to partners

- Perform physical inventory audits of third party and company owned yards

- Answer partner and internal management billing inquiries

- Prepare account reconciliations, yards and wells material reconciliations, and various system reconciliation as needed

- Process and scan material transfers for inventory movements

- Assist with special projects, initiatives, and process improvements as needed

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferable

- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in E&P Joint Interest Accounting

- Experience with Quorum is preferred

- Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) knowledge

- COPAS Accounting procedure knowledge

- EnergyLink experience

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

- Excellent verbal and communication skills

- Detail oriented

- Ability to work well with others, including inter-departmentally
