In this role, you will:

- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

- Work with various groups and teams across the business building economic models that support business decisions

- Support the Business Planning team with economic reviews and analysis of the Life of Asset (LoA) Plans highlighting risks and opportunities

- Assist with preparing annual consolidated LoA plans and manage the integrity of the LoA costing model

- Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business

Requirements:

- Working towards an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Finance or Engineering (Mining, Civil, Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering)

- A valid Class 5 Driver's License or extra-provincial equivalent, without learner's restrictions

- Comfortable working in a dynamic industrial work environment with a range of engineering, technical and operational personnel

- Motivated self-starters with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously

- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels

- Comfortable with financial analysis

- Strong problem solving, and decision-making abilities

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and advanced data analysis would be an asset
