Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues across various platforms, including Windows and Mac OS. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing exceptional technical support to our staff.
Responsibilities
•Provide help desk support by responding to user inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
•Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems on Windows and Mac OS systems.
•Manage firewall configurations and ensure network security protocols are followed.
•Utilize ServiceNow for tracking incidents, requests, and changes within the IT environment.
•Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
•Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals.
•Document technical procedures and maintain records of IT support activities.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in IT support or technical support roles.
•Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues on Windows and Mac OS platforms.
•Familiarity with firewall management and network security practices.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with users at all levels.
•Experience with help desk software such as ServiceNow is preferred.
•Knowledge of computer hardware components and their functionality.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
