Overview:
FHG Inc. is looking for an experienced, hard-working and versatile IT Support Specialist to join our talented team. The position will be based in our Charlotte, NC headquarters. This position will support all aspects of IT at FHG, with primary responsibility for application/system maintenance and development, employee hardware/software trouble shooting, IT hardware asset management, employee onboarding/offboarding, and employee training.

Essential Responsibilities:
Support
•Manage acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets for office and field, including computers, desks, accessories, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, routers, etc.
•Train new hires on the hardware and software that they will use in the course of their employment at FHG.
•Troubleshoot computer hardware and software problems.
•Manage security settings for our ERP and employee Portal.
•Manage and carry out the technology side of onboarding and offboarding employees (devices, user IDs, etc.).
•Submit support cases, issues and suggestions on behalf of our employees to serve as liaison with third-party support resources (such as Viewpoint for our ERP).
Reporting and Development
•Maintain our employee portal (web front end to ERP). Includes keeping up with upgrades, settings, user groups, advanced forms, and other links into ERP.
•Maintain our Excel-based bidding system and other Excel templates (involves writing/maintaining macros, understanding the business well enough to know and adjust our bidding system and how bids and projects interact with our ERP software).
•Aid in development and maintenance of Power BI, SSRS, and Crystal reports.
•Assist with the planning and execution of large-scale IT projects and strategic company initiatives.
General
•Represent the IT Department in work groups, teams, committees and/or meetings, both within the company and with external entities as well, as assigned.
•Consult with internal and external stakeholders as needed to understand system challenges/needs and effectively carry out responsibilities.
Required Education and Experience:
•Combination of relevant experience, education, or certifications. (Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems preferred).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Working knowledge of SQL

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
