Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, FL is seeking an IT Operations Analyst.
SUMMARY
The IT Operations Analyst supports the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of technology applications, infrastructure, and tooling across Mitsubishi Power’s global IT operations. This role works cross-functionally with teams including IT Service Desk, IT PMO, and IT Applications to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable technology solutions. The analyst is expected to be a technical resource with a strong service orientation, a passion for continuous improvement, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Integrate with the MHIA Shared Services team to implement and support network and infrastructure solutions in Mitsubishi Power facilities.
•Collaborate with MHIA to design and deliver cloud infrastructure tailored to business needs.
•Monitor and maintain network and infrastructure systems in both on-premises and cloud environments.
•Serve as a technical resource for the IT PMO, Office of IT Applications, and IT Service Desk.
•Identify and implement process improvements across IT operations.
•Review and report Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across IT functions.
•Evaluate capacity versus demand in compute, storage, memory, and network resources; recommend optimization strategies.
•Identify opportunities to consolidate siloed technologies and implement integrated solutions.
•Containerize and automate resource provisioning for scalability and cost efficiency.
•Maintain IT asset inventory and refresh workstation and mobile device fleets per lifecycle policy.
•Establish responsible disposal programs for outdated IT equipment.
•Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and IT Procurement to manage IT supply chain risk.
•Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks in hardware, software, and network configurations.
•Participate in ISO 27001 certification and support IT security compliance efforts.
•Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning and exercises.
•Manage directory services and ensure secure user data storage aligned with regulations.
•Develop and implement role- and resource-based access controls.
•Conduct regular audits of network and system access.
•Create and maintain up-to-date systems documentation and user training materials.
•Maintain the Standard IT Equipment Matrix and automate software compliance and hardware provisioning processes.
•Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve escalated IT issues.
•Apply best practices in IT service management, including incident and change management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
Education & Experience:
Two- or four-year degree in Information Systems or a related field preferred; minimum of four (4) years of experience in IT operations.
Technical Skills:
•Familiarity with DevOps, scrum, and agile methodologies; experience using tools such as JIRA.
•Strong working knowledge of IT infrastructure, including cloud services, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
•Experience supporting engineering teams in IT infrastructure environments.
Communication & Collaboration:
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Security & Compliance:
•Knowledge of information security practices and compliance requirements, including ISO 27001.
•Experience with auditing and access control best practices.
Process Improvement:
•Demonstrated ability to identify and implement IT process improvements and automation solutions.
