Summary

The IT Administrator is accountable to deploy, monitor, maintain, develop, upgrade all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, and software applications

Responsibilities

· Develop an effective security and disaster recovery management plan and implement it.

· Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations are required, especially with respect to security, backups and disaster recovery.

· Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures and implement them, including providing written protocols and guidance to end-users.

· Perform server configuration and administration tasks, diligent monitoring and upgrades.

· Perform infrastructure (firewalls, switches, ...) configuration and administration tasks, diligent monitoring of infrastructure and upgrades.

· Manage telecommunication infrastructure.

· Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex software and hardware problems; perform advanced hardware/software repairs, maintenance, and technical assistance.

· Become knowledgeable with Epicor and provide the support and development required for continued operations.

· Implement effective methods to install and maintain desktop/laptop computer hardware; including computers, monitors, printers, internal cards, and other computer equipment.

· Respond to after-hours system problem calls.

· Travel to Ward’s locations as needed to maintain IT infrastructure.
