VeloDyne is seeking a full-time Inventory Assistant based in Louisville, Colorado. Under the direction of the Production Manager, this position will work primarily in crating and inventory, assisting Production as necessary.
Essential Job Functions
•Assist Inventory Specialist with the care, storage, and delivery of warehouse merchandise.
•Kit and distribute inventory items based upon project BOMs.
•Perform inventory transactions in ERP system (Made 2 Manage).
•Perform daily cycle counts.
•Research and explain inventory discrepancies.
•Receive and inspect incoming inventory, safely storing and organizing for efficiency.
•Ship Finished Goods (FI) via a process through which the unit is securely packaged within a wooden crate. This may require the Inventory Assistant to move 75lbs or more, with the assistance of (1) a co-worker, or (2) with lift assists such as pallet jack, forklift, etc.
•Operate and help manage the woodshop. This includes building wood crates for equipment shipments.
•General Shop Floor Handyman: duties may include, but are not limited to, basic facility maintenance such as changing lights, painting, cleaning, organizing.
•Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
•Three to five years of inventory experience.
•Detail oriented and the ability to multitask under pressure.
•Flexible, positive attitude in an ever-changing environment.
•Able to work with minimal supervision.
•Experience with mechanical production components (Pumps, etc.).
•Experience with electrical components (PLC’s, potentiometers, etc.).
•Experience with PVC and Stainless-Steel plumbing components.
•Experience with an ERP system.
•Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
•Clear and concise oral and written English language communication skills required, including proper grammar and e-mail etiquette.
•Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
•Ability to work under high pressure conditions and to successfully handle stressful situations efficiently, professionally and effectively.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to make timely and sound decisions.
•Detail oriented, with a high degree of follow-through.

Physical Demands
•Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
•Ability to use power tools.
•Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
•Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
•Ability to lift and/or move up to 75lbs.
•Ability to look at computer monitors for much of the workday.
Work Environment
•May be exposed to a variety of weather elements as well as areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, chemicals and industrial facilities.
•Exposure to liquid and dry chemicals and substances associated with water and wastewater treatment, including permanganate, polymers, sodium hypochlorite, and liquid ammonium sulfate, among others.
•Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions.
