Responsible for inventory control and accuracy, supervision of inventory transactions and data input, variance reconciliation, cycle count programs and coordination of physical inventories. Responsibilities are to include all US Portable Power facilities.
- Coordination and review of all inventory transactions to ensure timely input and accuracy.
- Coordinate monthly and year-end inventory counts and reconciliation and physically participate in same.
- Review and recommend obsolete inventory for disposal.
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure proper inventory monitoring is taking place.
- Maintain and distribute the daily fleet sheet reporting system.
- Monitor and track equipment history (on-rent vs needing repair)
- Manage capex projects for all locations
- Support the locations with HSE 360 initiatives
- Communicate with all departments verbally and in writing to ensure all functions are coordinated properly.
- Closing month-end and running reports for month-end.
- Review Job splitting on partially completed jobs.
- Monitor Shipping orders in the system.
- Update item master files and item balance records, as necessary.
- Manage maintenance on equipment when it needs repair.
- Write and update departmental procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9000.
- Assist in the training of new personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred
- 5 years previous experience in inventory management
- Must be willing to travel domestically
- Previous JDE experience preferred
