Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in purchasing and managing inventory at 3 locations, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory control processes and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
•Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
•Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and manage stock levels.
•Collaborate with the production planning team to forecast inventory needs based on demand.
•Oversee order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely shipping and receiving of products.
•Implement best practices for inventory control to minimize discrepancies and losses.
•Assist in sourcing materials and supplies as needed for operational efficiency.
•Support retail management by providing accurate stock information for sales forecasting.
•Analyze inventory data to identify trends and optimize storage solutions.
Requirements
•Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field is preferred.
•Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices.
•Familiarity with warehouse management systems and production planning tools.
•Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
•Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
•Strong analytical skills for financial modeling and reporting purposes.
•Experience in shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes is a plus.
•Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
