Purchasing Specialist

Job description

NVIC is seeking a Purchasing Specialist responsible for activities related to the purchasing of materials, supplies, and services required to ensure no interruption to production or general office performance while procuring the highest quality products as the most affordable price available.

Responsibilities for the Purchasing Specialist include:

NVIC’s production facility includes vacuum process sand casting, gray iron foundry induction furnaces, finishing processes including grinding and painting, and CNC machining.

. Education/Experience Requirements:

Working Conditions:

Work area is normally office and a foundry environment with some time spent on the production floor. Hard-hat, safety glasses, earplugs, and safety boots are required on the production floor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
