Title: Inventory & Field Support Specialist
Reports to: Operations Manager, Energy
Purpose: This position will ensure proper accounting for materials and equipment through proper inventory management practices. Additionally, this position will help to ensure efficient operations through assisting with offloading of materials to worksites.
Requirements:
•Ability to travel 2 to 3 nights each week
•Skid steer and lull operating experience
•Familiarity with Microsoft office and basic spreadsheet usage
•Physically able to climb on trailers and secure loads
Responsibilities:
•Assist with site cleanup, loading excess materials from sites for transportation back to central warehouse.
•Transport tools, equipment, and materials from warehouse to site as well as site to site.
•Assist with material offload at both sites and warehouse. Conduct proper receiving inspection of offloaded materials.
•Maintain clean and organized warehouse space for tools and equipment.
+ Maintain record of parts and quantities
+ Conduct regular audits of inventory levels
+ Communicate inventory levels to others in the division
+ Establish system for field personnel to withdraw from inventory
+ Check materials and tools into inventory if returned from site
Physical Requirements
•Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time
•Must be capable of working in inclement conditions including extreme hot and cold temperatures.
•Must be physically capable of manually digging & back-filling holes and trenches.
•Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
