We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

This internship provides Electric Transmission line engineering and substation engineering support withing the Electric Transmission organization. Working with a mentor, the intern will learn basic concepts of surveying, working with survey contractors, conduct internal research, complete survey calculations and perform AutoCAD tasks. The intern will also be expected to learn and embrace Dominion's corporate culture of safety, ethics and inclusion.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of interpreting survey data to provide accurate and reliable results.

- Effective communication skills essential for collaborating with project teams and documenting survey findings comprehensively.

- Familiarity with survey software and tools, including GPS, GIS, and CAD, is highly beneficial.

Education Requirements

Degree: Associates or Bachelors

Major(s): Surveying and Geomatics Technology, Civil Engineering/Technology, Geography, Maping or Geographic Information Systems Technology, Environmental Science, AutoCAD Technology

Must have a graduation date of Spring 2027 or later.

Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or greater.
